Our weekends in the summer start on Friday because Tim has three day weekends April through December. On Friday, we had to meet our realtor to sign some papers in the morning. Then Mason had a dentist appointment. Before we left I felt kind of off. I told Tim I felt nauseous and just continued with our day. Saturday I took off from work to get some stuff done and there were things going on I wanted to do.

Thursday, December 04, 2014. I never purposely stopped blogging. I now think that it was likely the protective part of my psyche telling me to let things go and focus on me. For a long time I fell into the same boat as a lot of bloggers. I had a pattern, blogging connections, readers and comments. I worried about how many readers I had and where I was getting my readers. I had a list of things to talk about that were relevant to my blog. But having DCIS, goi.

At the LLL meeting, I meet some lovely moms who had a lot of success breastfeeding but they all had slow starts. It was helpful to hear their stories. Even more helpful, I received the name of another lactation consultant. I called her and she saw me a few days later.

Thursday, April 3, 2014. The Day I was Brave - THANK YOU. On Tuesday evening I posted a picture of myself from 2008 and one from last weekend on Instagram. Then I take a look at the photo on the left, not only do I like how I look, but I like the energy! I am happier now, not because I weigh less, because I decided that is how I want to live my life. I want to be a happy person, I want to wake up everyday and love my life,.

Weighed in on Monday evening at WW and I am down 4 lbs. My new weight was 188. 4! I am pretty happy with that! I did good with my eating, but would have liked to get more exercise in. Tuesday, June 4, 2013. A sweet, tiny, newborn angel. She was and continues to be an answer to my prayers. She is impossible to look at without smiling. Her joy fills every room.
